review taken from the doorman's top 19 of what i've bought and was released this year!

Fuck....this is awesome. This is how indie rock should sound when Lou pleaded for it in the Sebadoh classic "Gimme Indie Rock". Crying over a dirty guitar about how your girlfriend ditched you. Like in previous Swearing episodes, Dave looks for his girlfriend but she's not there. So he gets a few drinks down the street, a few more and gets high in the bathroom. In the end he won't look no more 'cause it dawns on him that she's probably down the shore (what the FUCK did she do there Dave?). This is literally quoted from the song "Borrowed Red Bike". The genius of S@M (besides the fact that the band's abbreviation hyperlinks to nothing!) can be explained by the Seinfeldian texts about daily bummers, set back against a wallpaper of real sound. Groningen is by the way mentioned in the last song so that's a benefit too of course.
