A Dayton, Ohio, based duo made up of guitarist Dave Doughman and drummer Don Thrasher(who played with Guided By Voices in their Bee Thousand era) Swearing at Motorists are touring off their newest album, Number Seven Uptown, which showcases the pair's masterful ability to touch lightly on a heavy feeling as well as their perfect sense of timing. At their finest moments, they recreate the hysterically amusing sadness of drowning pity with warm beer. Doughman has also earned a reputation as a brooding on stage extrovert, who can sometimes scare the front row. The Brewery.
