Chronic Philebrity readers/"World’s Local Band” Swearing At Motorists are pretty much the best band in town that only lives here like half the time. And while we were going Belle-crazy yesterday, we forgot to tell you that Last Night Becomes This Morning was also released, on Secretly Canadian. S@M are currently on tour right now — we got an IM yesterday claiming drummer Joseph Siwinski may have broken his ribs playing something called “Whirlyball” — but before they headed out, we spent an evening last week with singer Dave Doughman, who casually informed us that this new record was “all about the dark shit.” We’ll leave you to spot the references, but suffice it to say North Philly, lost wigs, dirty money and bars/roosters that shall go nameless all make appearances.
